Orange flesh is the main edible part and the safest part to offer when orange is fed to pets.
If orange is offered at all, the plain peeled flesh is the part to use. Even then, it should stay a small occasional treat because citrus can upset digestion in some pets and adds unnecessary sugar if fed too often.
Compared with the peel, seeds, or tougher inner parts, the flesh is the most practical part for controlled feeding.
