Plain unsweetened yogurt is the version most pets would tolerate best if yogurt is offered at all.
It is still not a necessary food, and some pets are sensitive to dairy. Dogs may do fine with a small amount, cats should only get tiny amounts if they tolerate it, rabbits should avoid it, and parrots should only get a very small occasional taste.
If yogurt is offered, plain unsweetened yogurt is the form to use, and added sugar or xylitol should always be avoided.
